These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of scroll-signal.com and any research reports or other products offered by Percolating Media LLC, doing business as ScrollSignal ("ScrollSignal," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or purchasing any product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

ScrollSignal is operated by Percolating Media LLC, a limited liability company organized under California law.

2. Research report licenses

Purchasing a report gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license — not ownership of the data or intellectual property.

• Individual license: Single named user. May not be shared, forwarded, or distributed.
• Team license: Up to 5 named users within one organization.
• Enterprise license: Unlimited internal use within one organization. May not be resold or distributed externally.

All licenses prohibit reproduction in external publications, presentations, or media without prior written permission. For permissions: hello@scroll-signal.com

3. Citation and fair use

Licensees may cite findings subject to these limits:

• Up to 2 charts or data visualizations per external document, attributed clearly to ScrollSignal.
• Up to 200 words of written analysis per external document, cited as: "ScrollSignal, [Report Title], [Year]."
• Citations must not misrepresent findings or present them out of context.

5. Pricing, payment, and taxes

All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, use tax, VAT, or other taxes based on your jurisdiction. Any such taxes will be disclosed at checkout.

6. Refund policy and digital delivery

We do not offer refunds once a digital file has been accessed or downloaded. For technical delivery issues, contact hello@scroll-signal.com within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it promptly. We are not responsible for a purchaser's inability to access files due to factors outside our control — including their firewall settings, incompatible software, or third-party platform outages.

7. Accuracy and limitations

Reports reflect consumer self-reported survey data at the time of fielding. Social commerce is a rapidly evolving market and findings may not reflect subsequent changes. We do not update previously published reports to reflect post-publication developments.

8. Intellectual property

All ScrollSignal research, data, analysis, website content, and brand assets are the intellectual property of Percolating Media LLC, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

9. Newsletter and email

By subscribing to The Signal, you consent to receiving periodic emails. Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by emailing hello@scroll-signal.com.

10. Limitation of liability

Percolating Media LLC's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Percolating Media LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or misuse of any ScrollSignal content.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We will notify newsletter subscribers of material changes by email.
