Who is this report for?
Brand marketers, agency strategists, retail and e-commerce leaders, investors, and platform teams who need independent data on how consumers actually use TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest to discover and buy. If you're making a budget allocation, content strategy, or platform investment decision in 2026, the report is built for you.
What's the difference between the free executive summary and the full report?
The
free 7-page summary covers the headline finding from each chapter — directional. The full report contains every chart, every breakdown by age, gender, income, and category, and the strategic recommendations. Free is enough to know if the trends apply to you. Paid is enough to act on them.
Can I share the report with my team?
Depends on your license. The Individual License ($995) is for one named user. The Team License ($1,995) covers up to 5 named users in one organization and includes the data tables. The Enterprise License ($3,995) covers the full organization, includes a cross-tabs supplement, and entitles you to one custom data cut on request.
Can I quote the data publicly?
Yes — with attribution. Cite as
"ScrollSignal Research" or
"ScrollSignal Social Commerce Intelligence Report." Press and analysts cite freely; full report content (charts, tables) requires a license. Detailed citation guidelines are in our
Terms of Service.
How is the data collected?
Online survey of 1,000 active US social commerce buyers — adults 18–64 who made at least one social commerce purchase in the past six months on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or Pinterest. Fielded April 2026 via an independent consumer research panel. Stratified weights applied to align with US Census on age, gender, and region. Full methodology — including why we focused our first report on this area — is published at
scroll-signal.com/methodology.
Is this funded by any platform?
No. ScrollSignal does not accept money, sponsorship, data partnerships, or in-kind support from any social platform. No platform reviewed questions before fielding or had access to results before publication. The Social Commerce Intelligence Report 2026 was funded entirely by ScrollSignal.
What format is the report delivered in?
PDF for the report itself. Team and Enterprise licenses also include an Excel file with the full data tables. Enterprise adds a cross-tabs supplement (also Excel) and the option to request one custom cross-tab within 5 business days of purchase.
How quickly will I receive it?
Immediately. After checkout, the download link is emailed to you within seconds. Your link remains active for one year. If anything goes wrong with delivery, write to
hello@scroll-signal.com and we'll resolve it within one business day.
What's your refund policy?
